Our Story
Crystal River Walking Tours was created by two lifelong locals, Peter Webber and Skyler Hastings, who share a deep love for their hometown and a passion for preserving its stories.
Peter, born and raised in Crystal River, has spent nearly a decade in the tourism industry and is the owner of Go Local Manatee Tours — the #1-rated manatee tour company in the area. His mission has always been to bridge the gap between visitors and locals by offering authentic, community-centered experiences.
Skyler, also a Crystal River native, brings the same hometown pride and commitment to sharing the history, culture, and character that make this place special.
Together, Peter and Skyler created Crystal River Walking Tours to connect people not just to the springs and wildlife, but to the heart of the community itself. Every tour is led by locals who grew up here, know the stories firsthand, and genuinely care about celebrating the spirit of Crystal River.
